Exhibition Hall Introduction
National Exhibition and Convention Center(国家会展中心) it is currently the largest exhibition complex in the world, with a total construction area of over 1.5 million square meters. China’s annual import expo is held and various themed exhibitions will be arranged here; it is a display window and a space for communication with the world.

How To Get There
There are No. 168 Yinggang East Road (South Gate), No. 111 Laigang Road (East Gate), and No. 1888 Zhuguang Road (West Gate).
Subway: Take Shanghai Metro Line 2 to East Xujing Station, and go to and from the West Hall; or take Line 17 to Zhuguang Road Station, and go to and from the North Hall. Due to the large passenger flow at East Xujing Station of Metro Line 2, tourists who take Line 2 and Line 10 can first take to Hongqiao Railway Station and then transfer to Line 17.

Overview
The main building is shaped like a stretched and soft four-leaf clover, adopts the concept of axial symmetry, and embodies many Chinese elements in the design. It is one of the landmark buildings in Shanghai. In 2020, it won the national green building operation three-star logo certification, achieved design and operation three-star double certification, and became the first large-scale exhibition three-star green building in China, and it is also the largest green building in China.
The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) is located in the core hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta. It is located in the west of the core area of Shanghai Hongqiao Business District. It is only 1.5 kilometers away from Hongqiao Transportation Hub. It is connected to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station through air corridors, underground passages and Metro Line 2. , Hongqiao Airport are closely connected, and the surrounding high-speed road network extends in all directions. It takes 1 to 2 hours to reach major cities in the Yangtze River Delta, and 2 to 3 hours to reach major economic cities in the Asia-Pacific region.
Large exhibition area
The exhibition area of the National Convention and Exhibition Center is nearly 600,000 square meters, including nearly 500,000 square meters of indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition venues. The complex has a total of 17 exhibition halls, including 15 large exhibition halls with a unit area of 30,000 square meters, and 2 multi-functional exhibition halls with a unit area of 10,000 square meters, which can be directly accessed by trucks. Fully meet the needs of large, medium and small exhibitions for the use of exhibition halls.
Super load-bearing capacity
The ground load of the four large exhibition halls (Halls 1.1, 2.1, 3, and 4.1) on the northern part of the first floor is as high as 5 tons per square meter, which is currently the exhibition hall with the strongest load-bearing capacity in the world. There are 4 double-storey large exhibition halls (Halls 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, and 8.1) on the southern part of the first floor and 1 small exhibition hall (North Hall NH) on the northern part. The ground load is 3.5 tons per square meter. On the second floor, there are seven large exhibition halls (Halls 1.2, 2.2, 4.2, 5.2, 6.2, 7.2, and 8.2) and one small exhibition hall (Hong Hall EH). The ground load is 1.5 tons per square meter. It can be easily loaded even in national exhibitions of heavy machinery that have the highest requirements on the load-bearing capacity of the exhibition hall.
Super high display space
Hall 3, a single-story column-free exhibition hall of the National Convention and Exhibition Center, has an unparalleled exhibition space with a net height of 32 meters. Halls 1, 2, and 4 to 8 are two-storey large exhibition halls, of which the clear height of the first-floor hall is 12 meters, and the second-floor hall is 17 meters. It provides infinite possibilities for all kinds of construction and use.
The National Convention and Exhibition Center has two 10,000-square-meter multi-functional venues, a 10,000-square-meter central square, and a 100,000-square-meter outdoor exhibition field, which are in various spaces and venues, which are suitable for holding various scales of commercial promotion, art Performances, forum annual meetings, cultural exhibitions, fashion entertainment and other activities. The performing arts hall “Hongguan” located in the east hall has a total area of 10,000 square meters and nearly 8,000 seats. It is the largest cultural and entertainment performing arts platform in Hongqiao area. It is suitable for holding large and medium-sized performing arts activities and can also be used for exhibition and conference services.
In addition, the National Convention and Exhibition Center also has a wealth of conference venues and an advanced conference organization system, which can easily handle small gatherings of dozens of people to large-scale international conferences. Among them, there are 40 small meeting rooms of 90-400 square meters, and 7 medium-sized meeting rooms of 400-600 square meters. The indoor software functions are perfect, the hardware facilities are complete, and the meeting environment is comfortable.

In addition to 28 small meeting rooms (100-200㎡) and 7 medium-sized meeting rooms (300-500㎡), the convention and exhibition complex is also equipped with a grand banquet hall with an area of 1,000 square meters and a banquet hall that can accommodate 2,000-3,000 people.
